Drage dame, gospodo i prijetelji umjetničkog klizanja,
Vrlo smo ražalošćeni što vam moramo saopćiti da naše takmičenje
Sarajevo Olimp Trophy 2012, koje se trebalo održati od 17. do 19. 02. 2012.,
mora biti otkazano, zbog okolnosti koje su van naše kontrole.
Vjerovatno ste već čuli ili ste i sami iskusili da je ovaj region zahvatilo veliko sniježno nevrijeme uslijed kojeg cijeli grad Sarajevo ne funkcioniše normalno.
Nevrijeme i veliki snijeg su prouzrokovali enormnu štetu na balonu pod kojim se nalazi ledena ploha na kojoj je trebalo biti održano takmičenje, a koju je nemoguće otkloniti do početka takmičenja.
Nažalost, u Sarajevu ne postoji ni jedno drugo mjesto u kojem bi se planirano takmičenje moglo održati.
Obzirom na veliki broj pristiglih prijava, koristimo priliku da se svim prijateljima zahvalimo na ukazanom povjerenju i podršci.
Vjerujemo da iduće godine ništa neće dovesti u pitanje održavanje Sarajevo Olimp Trophy 2013 na kojem Vas sa radošću očekujemo.

Dear Ladies, Gentlemen and Figure Skating Friends,
Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond our control - a Force Majeure –
We are forced to send final notification on the cancellation of the Sarajevo Olimp Trophy 2012, scheduled for 17-19 February. The event will not be held this year!We are sure that all interested competitors and visitors have heard about or personally experienced recent events in the region and further – Sarajevo has had total snowfall measuring over one meter in the last seven days. This downfall was stopped the city’s normal functioning.
Besides the obvious chaos this downfall has created, this great downfall of snow has caused enormous damage to the air-support skating dome at the Zetra Olympic Center. We are sad to say it is impossible to repair this damage and create even the most basic of conditions to hold our event. And, unfortunately, Sarajevo does not have another skating venue, a reserve venue, capable of hosting such an event.
We thank all our friends for their support – we have received a large number of registrations for the event. We send our gratitude for your support, shared belief and confidence in regard to the holding of this event. Had the event been held, we are sure it would have been a great success.
The event is cancelled this year but will certainly be held next year; there is no reason to doubt our resolve in this effort! We will overcome all obstacles that could possibly hinder the holding of the Sarajevo Olimp Trophy in 2013.
